Cetirizine Hydrochloride is the active ingredient of Zirtek Allergy Solution. Zirtek Allergy Solution is an antiallergic medication.

In adults and children aged 2 years and above, Zirtek Allergy Solution is indicated –

• For the relief of nasal and ocular symptoms of seasonal and perennial allergic rhinitis.
• For the relief of urticaria.

Zirtek Allergy Solution

Zirtek Allergy Solution is used primarily to treat the symptoms of allergic rhinitis, otherwise known as hay fever. It can cause symptoms such as a runny nose, itch eyes, congestion, and sneezing and sinus pressure. These are also all typical symptoms of a cold, but unlike a cold, hay fever isn’t caused by a virus.

Hay fever is a response to indoor and outdoor allergens, such as pollen, or the skin of dogs and cats. Zirtek Allergy Solution is supposed to be taken before coming into contact with any of these allergens, therefore preventing symptoms from manifesting.

Hay fever can genuinely impact your quality of life, but you don’t have to put up with the symptoms dragging you down any longer. Zirtek Allergy Solution can help prevent symptoms and tips can be followed to help you avoid things that may trigger your hay fever.

Zirtek Allergy Liquid

Zirtek Allergy Liquid helps relieve mild to moderate allergy symptoms, such as:

• Sneezing
• Runny nose
• Itchy or watery eyes
• Itchy throat or nose

The above reactions can often occur after you have touched or inhaled allergens, such as pollen from a plant, mould or pet dander. Symptoms of allergies usually affect the nose, sinuses, throat, and other areas of your upper respiratory system.

Zirtek Allergy Liquid can also help relieve hives. Hives are itchy, raised rashes on the skin. Hives often occur with food or medication allergies.

Should you have allergies and have not used treatment before, Zirtek Allergy Liquid would be a good starting point for treatment, especially for people who can’t use tablets.

 

Directions
Adults, children aged 6 years and over:
Two 5 ml spoonfuls once a day OR
One 5 ml spoonful in the morning and another 5 ml spoonful in the evening.
You may feel drowsy or dizzy, taking half your dose twice a day may reduce this.
If you accidentally take more than the recommended dose consult your doctor immediately.
This solution should not be given to children under 6 years of age.
If you forget to take a dose, you should take one, as soon as you remember, but wait at least 24 hours before taking the next dose.
Do not exceed the stated dose
If symptoms persist consult your doctor or pharmacist.
