What is athlete’s foot?

Athlete’s foot is a common and contagious fungal infection that affects the feet. It can cause your feet to become itchy, flaky and uncomfortable. The most common symptoms of athlete’s foot are itchy white patches between the toes and patches of flaky skin on the feet.
