Pyrocalm Control Omeprazole 20mg Tablets are an over-the-counter medicine used by adults to help relieve symptoms of acid reflux, including heartburn and acid regurgitation.

About Acid Reflux

Acid reflux happens when stomach acid moves back up into the gullet (food pipe). This may lead to:

• A burning feeling in the chest (heartburn)

• A sour or acidic taste in the mouth (acid regurgitation)

Common triggers can include certain foods and drinks (such as coffee, alcohol, chocolate, or fatty/spicy meals), being overweight, smoking, stress, pregnancy, some medicines like anti-inflammatory painkillers, and conditions such as a hiatus hernia.

How Pyrocalm Control Works

Pyrocalm Control contains omeprazole, a Proton Pump Inhibitor (PPI). PPIs work by reducing the amount of acid produced in the stomach. The tablets release omeprazole in the intestine, where it is absorbed to help manage reflux symptoms.

Pyrocalm Control is not intended for immediate relief. It may take 2–3 consecutive days of use for symptoms to improve.
