Medi Derma-PRO Skin Protectant Ointment is a medicinal ointment that has been formulated specifically to relieve and protect dry, irritated or damaged skin. The ointment forms a seal on the skin to absorb hydration and prevent further aggravation. This ointment is indicated in the treatment of dry skin, chafed skin and even mildly burnt areas.

• Use when skin is intact and in areas of exposure to body fluids, adhesive or friction.

• Very moisturising.

• Useful in skin damage which is mild, moderate or severe.

• Does not contain alcohol, fragrance, parabens, latex and phthalates.

Directions:

• Before application, the skin should be clean and dry.

• A thin, even layer should be spread over the tissue.

• Pea to Palmer application uses only a small volume of cream to cover an area no larger than the palm. Avoid over-application of the product.

• After the product has dried, normal application of a dressing, pouch or adhesive device is performed.

• Re-application should be done two times per day although if adhesive dressings or devices are worn then after every change of a dressing or device.

Caution:

• Not recommended when used over infected skin.

• For external use only.
