Glycerin 1g For Constipation Infant Size – 12 Suppositories (Brand May Vary)

These glycerine suppositories are only suitable for use in infants below the age of 1 and should never be swallowed/taken by mouth. Wash your hands before use, then remove the protective film by tearing the strip at the notch, or by cutting around the suppository. After that, dip the suppository in water and insert it into the infant’s rectum. The recommended dosage is one suppository, to be used as required.

These suppositories contain 1g of the active ingredient glycerol. Glycerol is a compound with a wide range of uses but is most commonly found in constipation treatments. Glycerine suppositories relieve constipation by stimulating the bowel to encourage movement - this is done by pushing water into the intestines.
