Warnings and Precautions
Before using Gaviscon Liquid, it’s important to know the following:

Children under 6 years: Not fit for this age group.
Do not use if you have a known allergy or sensitivity to any of the ingredients listed. Speak to Your GP Before Use If:

You have very bad kidney problems.

Your blood has low phosphate levels (hypophosphatemia).

Ingredients

Active Ingredients: Sodium alginate (500mg), sodium bicarbonate (267mg), calcium carbonate (160mg).

Other Ingredients: (Composition N.1) Methyl parahydroxybenzoate, propyl parahydroxybenzoate, saccharin sodium, sodium hydroxide, peppermint oil and water. If stomach acid causes discomfort, Gaviscon Liquid is a handy treatment; it will neutralise the acid, then form a soothing barrier to protect your throat and chest.
