How It Works

Gaviscon Double Action combines sodium alginate and antacids. The antacids (calcium carbonate and sodium bicarbonate) work to neutralise stomach acid, while the alginate forms a soothing layer on top of the stomach contents. This barrier helps prevent acid from rising into the oesophagus.

How to Use

• Shake well before use.
  
• Adults and children over 12 years: Take 10–20ml after meals and at bedtime.
  
• Do not exceed 80ml per day.
  
• Children under 12: Only use on medical advice.
