What are Dioralyte Relief

Dioralyte Relief is recommended for the replacement of essential body water and salts in the treatment of acute diarrhoea. During diarrhoea the body loses water and salts and Dioralyte Relief replaces these whilst also helping watery stools return to normal more rapidly. This is because these also contain rice powder to help bulk up stools. Early use is important to avoid dehydration, especially in the young and elderly. (suitable for KIDS)


Causes of Dehydration:

  • Vomiting

  • Diarrhoea

  • Excessive sweating, e.g. during exercise, when overheating in the sun

  • Medications that make you pee more often (diuretics)

  • Drinking too much alcohol, which is a diuretic

  • Diabetes
