Buscopan IBS Relief Tablets are part of a group called antispasmodics. They are used to treat painful colicky aching or spasms in the bowel that is associated with Irritable Bone Syndrome.


What is Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS)? Irritable Bowel Syndrome, also known as IBS, is a condition in which the muscles of the bowel are very sensitive to emotional stress and anxiety. The sensitivity can lead to painful cramps or spasms within the bowel. These are usually temporary and last for a few days. IBS can sometimes cause diarrhoea and constipation.
