Mepore Ultra Wound Dressing 9 x 20cm

Mepore Ultra is a self-adherent, absorbent, and breathable dressing with an outer film layer that protects the wound from water and contamination. its skin-friendly, waterbased, solvent-free adhesive provides a gentle and secure fixation.

How to use it effectively?

1. Prepare the Wound: Rinse the wound area with the right solution and thereafter, wipe it with a clean sterile material.
   
2. Choose the Right Size: Choose a Mepore Ultra dressing that fits the wound perfectly, and the dressing should also be larger than the wound site.
   
3. Apply the Dressing: Tear off the protective layer on top of the dressing. Position the absorbent pad on the wound site but should not come into contact with the edges of the wound. Calm the adhesive border towards the skin around it to hold it correctly.
   
4. Monitor the Dressing: Look for leakage or at least saturation of the provided material. If the dressing is wet or soiled, it should be changed.
   
5. Remove the Dressing: To remove the dressing, carefully strip it off from one corner, it is that easy. If it dries up, then try to wet it with saline or even water to make it easier to remove.

How to preserve it effectively?

• Keep it Cool and Dry: Mepore Ultra dressings should be stored in a cool, dry area, preferably in a dark region, and away from moisture.
• Check Expiry Dates: Ensure that dressing labels have well-marked expiry dates, and do not use any dressing that has expired.
• Post-Opening Care: If the packing is torn but the dressing is not used in the first instance, it should be kept clean and dry and used as soon as possible to avoid contamination.
• Prevent Contamination: Be sure to wear gloves and do not touch the dressing on the wound contact layer, which should be clean.

Missed Deliveries or Returns
